About three months ago, David Wu woke up with a vision to transform his home office into his very own Apple Store, complete with a replica Fetzer maple wood desk and a towering black Apple TV display pillar. It's sort of insane...but in a "wow, you're crazy but that's cool" sort of way.
The most impressive feature of David's Hong Kong home office setup is the display pillar (and ironically it's a Samsung display flanking his desk above a nearby bookshelf):
The Apple pillar structure complete with lit up Apple logo and built-in LCD screen is the room's feature. I run my Apple TV into this screen and often just let it run through the screensaver (I prefer Photo Wall setting with some of my holiday snap shots and some nice easy-listening music during light work).
And if you look closely, you'll notice David has installed reflective glass panels on three of the walls, with a matte finish on the wall he faces while working. He says he's not a I am not "designer nor a decorator by profession", but he certainly has proven himself in a category all to himself when it comes to Mac addicts.

Shaw's Original Fir...
While I wouldn't choose to turn my home into an Apple store, it certainly is well-executed.
This would remind me too much of work!
It's a little like a place of worship, no?
I just wish my IT guy (my husband) could be that tidy.
Do all those boxes actually contain products? Or are they just for show? To me, why not just live in the apple store? lol
Pretty darned cool!
Does he bring chicks home to see this?
Now you'll be sued!
The Mac store is like crack for geeks but I think David needs and intervention.
I'm a mac addict and even I don't go this far.
(I can stop whenever I want to. I just don't want to.)
He has 10 iPhone 4 boxes... I'm going to assume that his friends gave them to him for his "store"... I hope.

King of the fanboys! Man, I thought my husband was bad.
ack! I applaud the effort but....no
