We found a spinning globe that someone was throwing it out. it was old and the counties in Asia and Russia are all completely changed, I remember seeing a blog painting the globe with chalkboard paint. It is really cool.
We used globes instead of a mobile in my son's nursery. He is really fascinated by them, and we love to look at them too. Here's a link with a picture:
