Sometimes I feel like the only person on the planet NOT watching Mad Men - but even without seeing a single episode, I know the look - it has become shorthand for glamorous, sexy sixties style. I ran across this still from the show and pulled together a list of similar wallpapers in a range of prices and variations...
...all very different, but each capable of giving you the look at home.
Shown above, left to right, from most to least expensive:
Ballard Designs Zebra Wallpaper for $119/double roll.
Wallpaper Company Black Zebra Print for $34.98
Decorate to Go Zebra Skin Wallpaper for $21.50
Wallpaper Update Zebra Skin Wallpaper for $16.99 (sorry, no longer available)

Isn't that lounge in the Gold Coast?
Mmmm....Don Draper.
you are not alone, I am not watching anything else on Sundays until True Blood ends...and then to be honest I will just bide my time until Big Love's return.
I question if a zebra print wall would look as nice in broad daylight and without the scads of smoke?
Thank you for the fabulous links. Calico Corners' recent marketing postcard featured a zebra wall behind a chair piled high with their animal print fabrics. I've been looking for zebra wall paper ever since. Now I'm onsidering stenciling the wall (can't be that hard) with a rolling zebra as in your picture.
You're not the only one not watching Mad Men. I honestly tried to like it, but I think it's terrible. The characters are shallow and every thirty seconds it's all "Oh LOOKY, a 1960's reference!! Aren't we clever!!!!". Yawn.
Zebra wallpaper? Animal skin looks better on animals than on walls, IMO.
Forget the wallpaper! I want Jon Hamm up against my wall.
Nope, don't watch Mad Men (or True Blood) either.
Strongly contrasty wallpaper seems, to me, like the fastest way to lock a room into a (soon to be dated) "look". You'd better really like it because in a couple of years it won't seem fresh and new any more. And, at least to me, way too much work and expense to remove and replace. I'll stick with strong patterns on accessories that are more mobile.
"I want Jon Hamm up against my wall."
I know what I want for my Birthday...
;-)
The wall paper is in a night club. I don't know that it translates to a home. Different environments.
@Bepsf - AND the guy in the hot tub in Sonoma from the post a few days ago? =)
Janel, I've never seen it either. But I like the pretty pictures!
I don't know about zebra-print wallpaper, but a nice big zebra-print rug in the bedroom, yes.
I've not seen a single episode.
And I don't like zebra wallpaper. Ick.
But maybe he could hang from my wall?
(Yeah, I know. It's creepy.)
