Edge with warmth. Portland-based Made Studio is a furniture and interior design studio specializing in handcrafted case goods, tables, and custom furniture, as well as cabinetry-based interiors. (They've outfitted the Portland headquarters of Hive Modern, among others).

Everything is both designed and constucted in their Portland studio, with a materials vocabulary that's both spare and rich.

Most pieces are built from warm walnut and rift-sawn white oak, accented (or not, as the client desires) with panels of white acrylic, stainless steel, or white lacquer, and detailed with black leather upholstery.

Made Studio is an excellent starting place if you're looking for a contemporary low-slung media cabinet. They have three models, all of them exceedingly attractive and customizable.

If we needed a coffee table, this would be it. It's a little bit De La Espada, but with more modest proportions.
