Faced with a nine foot expanse of hallway, Michell of Girl In Air went to town creating an endlessly inspiring activity wall for her son, complete with sliding ladder.
For about $100, Michell used homemade chalk paint, galvanized steel sheeting, pipes and fittings, dry erase paint and wood to create a true wonderwall. Any one of these elements alone would have made a remarkable addition to the home, but all together they are an awesome and engaging play space in an otherwise overlooked spot. Wow, amazing! Looks like so much fun!
Great design and use of wall space. Nothing better than incorporating learning and play.
This is wonderufl and amazing -- thanks so much for sharing this. It so makes me wish we owned our apartment (and that I had any skills with power tools!) so I could try to do something like this.
Fun, fun, fun! There's nothing better than a ladder...I want ladders all over our house :-)
I think that the ladder is GREAT. What a wonderful mixture of activities in such a small space.
The rolling library ladder is the most clever idea.
