This is where you can find a cool kid gift.

We love this site. Love the stuff. Love the blog. Love the about page, for goodness sake. Just look at the owner's picture here and read his statement:

"...if were you to go back a little further, you'd find a kid who was never finished rearranging his room and would rather stay inside and weave pot-holders on a plastic loom and bake shrinky-dinks than run around the yard.

Clearly when attributes were passed out, I got the crafty gene (read - I'm an artsy dork!)."

Robert Mahar obviously enjoys curating his online shop of artisan-made objects that he "would be thrilled to present to any kid". It shows. Below the jump is just some of the fabulous stuff he sells.

Hilda the Fox: Handsewn cutie made from vintage materials. $62.

Castle Building Blocks: Handcrafted originally designed wooden block set. $139.

Print: "Redhood" by Camilla Engman. $25.

Twink CDs: "Picture your stuffed animal collection at a late-night rave in an enchanted forest...Twink is the music they are dancing to." $20.

Print: "Looking for Shore on Black Apple Pond" by Emily Martin. $12.

Lily Bean Play Food Bento Box: Handmade wool felt sushi set. $42.

Monster Garden Kit: Spooky. $4.

Black Apple Paper Dolls: Set of Three. $16.

Most items can be sent in an apple green gift suitcase, too!
