Anyone who looks through the furniture on Craigslist knows that there are always tons of Eames chairs in varying states of disrepair in the listings. I always wondered how one of those badly damaged pieces might look when rehabbed, and look, here is one that someone has done a good job of fixing up.

Orlando craigslist SUCKS. I love these scavenger posts but they make me sad because I can't find anything good on mine.
agree w/ birdablaze! Las Vegas sucks too.
would like to add Houston. Here, everything's cheap and ugly AND overpriced
Philadelphia is hit or miss, when trying to find interesting furniture and accessories. Most of the time if there is something decent, its overpriced.
I've often thought about buying an Eames lounge chair in bad shape off of craigslist & reupholstering it, but I wouldn't even know where to begin. Maybe AT could do a post about this making this chair diy?
grand rapids craigslist is so ugly and sad. And expensive. Crappy plaid 80's sofas are NOT worth 200 bucks people...
Meghan there is a whole post about reupholstering eames lounge chairs. keyword search it :)
some good stuff here ... those plywood dining chairs are pretty hard to find on CL...
I'd like to add Louisville to the sucky Craigslist list. "This was a great dishwasher till it caught on fire. Maybe you can fix it. $200."
That is not an Eames chair, it's a Plycraft knock-off.
Please change the heading.
That Plycraft knock-off chair looks like something right out of an IKEA catalog.
So sad to see that ugly upholstery on that Eames or Plycraft chair.
I have to chime in, these Craigslist roundups make me SO jealous. Reno Craigslist is all sad and overpriced late-90's sofas and bedroom sets.
Yikes - that is just ugly.
Hideous choice in fabric for this whatever chair.
Love this chair! I think this would be so cute in a nursery, it rocks too!
