Okay, so we were window-shopping. Good lighting it always hard to find, especially at a reasonable price, so we took particular note last week when we saw The Gumdrop Lamp in the window of Crate & Barrel. A beautiful shape with simple curves, we liked it and could imagine it fitting into our home without a) anyone guessing is was Crate & Barrel and b) us ever get tired of it. We also liked the $89.95 price tag. It comes in three colors (moss, charcoal, merlot) and the pictures on the web don't do it justice. SKGR

I bought this lamp last week (in merlot) and it looks great. Takes up to a 150-watt bulb so it really gives off a lot of light (if you want it to). I was most surprised by the high quality of the shade, which I didn't expect at that price.
Yes I agree that the lamps look great. And from whet I hear there are some great new colors comming out in January when they have there best buy season.
