Although most families these days have many of the members texting away, consider setting up a dedicated message center at home to keep all of your schedules in order. We love this version that was
This has been a financially challenging year for many people and quite a few adult children made the decision to give up their apartments and move back home with their parents in order to get back on their feet. We recently learned about The Inside Source, an online magazine newly launched by eBay about trends in shopping for fashion, home, accessories, collectibles and anything else you can find on eBay. Very cool idea! There are tons of amazing home design items up for grabs on eBay and it can sometimes
Los Angeles-based interior designer, Tobi Tobin, recently opened her flagship shop on Sunset Blvd and it's like walking into a beautifully curated museum full of vintage gems, high-end design, colorful art and thoughtful accessories. We bumped into an old friend the other day and she was sharing about her small home and small shed-turned-office. (House tour very soon!) We could tell by the way she was talking that she cared about her home and her dedication to making it functional and stylish. Creative couple, Joe and Kristin, bought their house in April 2004. Located in the historic West Adams area of Los Angeles, the neighborhood is a combination of medium to large Craftsman and Victorian homes, along with other assorted styles. Although the house is a restored Craftsman (which the couple loves), they also love the look of Danish style and have slowly been adding pieces into their home. They particularly like the mix of a contemporary design with the warmth of rich wood colors and textures. Now Joe and Kristen's home is full of an interesting mix of styles and they love how it all works altogether.
