Get organized, eat better, exercise - one or more of these is probably on your resolutions list for the coming year, right? How about adding a green resolution? Commit to something you've been considering or follow through on something you've only done half-heartedly (like keep those reusable bags in your bag or trunk instead of your closet). What's our green resolution you ask?

Our own green resolution this year is about packaging - all the stuff surrounding the things we buy. The goal is to seek out things with less and less harmful packaging. From the things we order online (we like Amazon's Frustration-Free Packaging initiative for example) to the things we buy in stores (we're finally going to stand up to the rigid bagel lady who insists on putting a bagel we're going to eat right away in a paper bag) and, maybe the hardest, a reevaluation of the places we order takeout food from (and the the excessive amounts of plastic packaging that accompany it.)

What's your green resolution this year? (Looking for ideas? Greenwala has some ideas.)
