Now I know we just posted yesterday about Cheri Heaton over at I Am Momma Hear Me Roar, but it dawned on us that we forgot to mention a fabulous project that aids in keeping your home clean! Meet Gunny...
When Cheri was younger, her mother made one of these Gunny bags for her and now she's done the same for her kids. This smiling, hanging sack holds (or rather eats) stray toys that are left on the floor after Mom or Dad has asked that they be picked up.
The bag is easily hung in the closet of your choice where they can stay out of sight and out of mind for awhile until you deem them ready to return to the toy box.
Make sure to check out the full tutorial to make your own and if you missed it, read the behind the blog interview with Cheri and check out all the wonderful talent that her corner of the internet holds.

Shaw's Original Fir...
Such a great idea, I think I might have to try this one.

Our's would have to be HUGE! I feel like I am forever picking up toys!
My mom did this when we were younger too. Only it was called the "Monster Bag." It, too, ate our toys and we could only get them back if we paid. We got an allowance at the end of the week and we had to pay out of that.
Oh! I love this! And I love okaylemon's suggestion of making it a monster. I can actually do a funny looking monster. LOVE!
