Make A Handmade Chandelier From Ribbon

We're big fans of the work that goes on over at Living With Lindsay. You might remember her super cool paper wreath or her bath toy storage idea for grown-up bathrooms. This time around she's made a chandelier from ribbon and handmade birds, a spin off from Pottery Barn — though truth be told, we like her take better!

Lindsay loved the look of this Pottery Barn chandelier and although the price tag isn't totally out of reach, she knew she could put in a little time and make it instead of heading into the world of retail. We love the birds and although it took her a few tries to get each hoop balanced correctly before adding the ribbons, we'd say it was time well spent.

This is a fabulous idea for those looking to personalize their room on a budget as you could find remaindered ribbon pieces and create whatever adornments you wish on the outside. Tractors, kitty cats, butterflies or robots wearing jet packs — the choice is yours!
