Simple Toddler Indoor Hammock

Sometimes, you know, you just want to kick it. My kids have been kicking it for a week and a half on spring break, and sometimes I really wish I had a hammock I could stick them in for an hour or two.

All jokes aside, this very simple project from Emily at Joyful Abode is a fun twist on the tent-under-the-table trend. With a baby-wearing wrap, or even a twin sheet, you can make this resting area for your toddler. Although we take "resting" with a grain of salt: getting in and out might be the most fun of all.

This little hideaway could be the perfect place for a little reading nook, or kids could even use it as a play space, with your toddler on the floor and the hammock serving as a stage for LEGO minifigs, or dolls, or cars. Of course, you'll want to keep this low to the ground in case of tumbles.
