We just can't get enough of easy, DIY laptop stands. Laptop stands, coupled with an external keyboard and mouse, can really help keep away the bad neck and back juju. For those who would rather make do with what you have lying around the house, here's one stand that requires cardboard and scissors.
For those who don't want to spend a ton (or anything for that matter) on a laptop stand, we give you, Tomas Carillo's cardboard stand. Carillo, who also showed us how to tame extra long cables, came up with this ingenius, and very affordable laptop stand. Carillo's stand can lift a 15-inch laptop, 8-inches, but as he mentions on his Instructables page, you can make adjustments to his design to accomodate and lift whatever you please.
You can find instructions here, but to sum up, you'll need 1/8-inch cardboard, a ruler, and scissors. Could it be any easier?
