Although those small plastic letters are nostalgic to many of us, the jury is still out on what the plastic they're made from contains. Instead of waiting around to find out Gina of the Daily Bmade her own from fabric scraps during afternoon nap time!
Gina has been busy during the brief, yet coveted afternoon nap time. She only made it through letter J before her children were awake again, so the rest will have to wait until later, but she assures us it's a simple project that anyone can take on.
Gina placed scrap felt between scrap fabric pieces and traced her letters. After cutting them out and attaching a magnet she sewed their edges closed. If your fridge isn't magnetic, try placing them on the dishwasher or even washing machine to keep little hands entertained while you're rotating laundry.
