We're no stranger to a good DIY project, but usually most of those small arts and crafts are geared for toddlers on up. This project can be done at most any age with a little help from Mom or Dad and you're guaranteed superstar results every time. Pick the message you want to share and you're ready to paint.

Katie of Explanation Required, had this fun idea of using fingerpaint to turn out a true work of art. We all love out kid's finger painting, but when they're bound for someone else's home, turning them into something they can actually hang is a good thing.

She started by choosing the words she wanted to use and cutt them out of vinyl. Next up came finger painting and then the removal of the stickers. For best results we suggest priming your canvas first to give the stickers a real seal. Each piece can be customized for the home it's destined for (even if it's just your own), though your little one won't have much care. They'll just be excited to get messy!
