We apparently have DIY planter fever lately. Yesterday we showed you this brightly colored 3-tiered version and today we have another handmade option using patio pavers from your local lawn and garden store. It's a simple, inexpensive project that would look great in almost any space!

Although there isn't any harm in heading to the store and purchasing a planter without any further modifications, we've always been of the mindset that if we can build it for less, then that's the road to take. Stephanie Lynn over at Under The Table and Dreaming shares the same mentality and we love the look of her handmade planters made from 5 patio pavers.

The process is an easy one: all you need is a little weatherproof construction adhesive that's intended for outdoor use. After a bit of gluing, you're ready to fill them with flowers or plants of all shapes and sizes. There is a trick to getting proper drainage when you're gluing, so make sure to hop over to Under The Table and Dreaming to see the full tutorial.

If you want, you can even paint them up to match your outdoor area, or leave them plain and let their simple shapes speak for themselves.

Thanks Stephanie Lynn!
