We're always on the lookout for creative crafting projects and especially those that allow us to make pom poms! We're not sure what it is, but those little balls of fluff just ooze warm happy feelings into any room they're placed! Check out this cute pom pom name pennant that will have all your friends asking, "Where'd you get that?"

This fun little tutorial can be found over at Homemade by Jill who happens to still be basking in the glow of bringing her new little one into the world — welcome Ruby! While she's away Kirstin and Jordan from Kojodesigns are filling in and are the mastermind behind this sweet little project.

All you'll need is yarn in your favorite colors (or old tshirts can work also), wire, ribbon, felt and glue! The process is simple, even if you don't have a pom pom maker like the tutorial suggests and we think it's a great way to personalize a room or make giant wall art on a budget. Check your local thrift stores and estate sales for serious deals on old yarn and mix in a few new bright colors to punch things up a bit!
