Are you looking for something to add to your Easter basket that isn't made of sugar? A chocolate bunny and a few jelly beans is all well and good but check out this simple hopscotch mat. It's easier to make than you think, even if you're short on crafting skills.

This mat was created with a single length of fabric and squares of felt purchased from the craft store. Kimbo from A Girl and a Glue Gun featured the project over at The Idea Room and we think it's a great one!

The numbers were cut out from each square of felt and then each piece was glued down. Small clay rocks were made and the scraps of felt were cut into small circles and glued down around the edges. The back has a few more games on it just for fun and the whole thing comes with a bag to hold game pieces and has ties to keep it closed. It could be done in just a few short hours after your little one has gone to bed and what a great addition it would make to any household.

Need a few minutes to get dinner ready? An inexpensive birthday present for a friend or family member? This is a simple craft that can stand in for all of those needs. Check out the full tutorial here to see how it's done!
