There's something quite satisfactory about making something on your own that would normally be store bought. This simple stamp idea could be the basis for your next set of curtains, duvet cover or tea towels! Can you tell what it's made from? Chances are you already have the materials to make it floating around your junk drawer!
The new book Print Workshop has been recently released from Christine Schmidt and the pages inside hold all sorts of fun diy ideas. The folks over at Print and Pattern highlight some of the oh so pretty designs that are simple enough to make on your own, even if they seem like designer based wares.
One of our favorites was the idea of using string or yarn wrapped around a small block of wood to create a stamp. Although it seems unassuming, when repeated time and time again over a large expanse of paper or fabric it turns into something magical.
