Over the past year we've seen many different tutorials pop up on making your own pendant lights out of string. This project makes the most of that idea, but instead of lighting makes a super cool mini solar system.

We checked in on Laura over at Art For Little Hands where she's been busy crafting a solar system and the kids even helped.

Laura used homemade glue, embroidery floss (for pretty colors) and balloons to create the look. The end result is not only handmade, but looks amazing. It's tangible science and we're totally on board with the project.
