We love a good craft that features a new use for an old favorite, especially when it's one that's never really been part of the crafting world to begin with. Make a North Pole Street Light to be part of your holiday decorations, just make sure to pick up a few solar lights!

Over at Dollar Store Crafts they've come up with a rather brilliant little idea, turning a solar light into a street lamp! It's a cute craft that recharges every day with the sun and will light the night for your little ones.

You could make it part of a whole holiday village or just individual ones to light a windowsill at night, the best part is the solar lights themselves run between $1-$3 and the rest can usually be made from supplies you might already have on hand.

Check out the full tutorial over at Dollar Store Crafts and make sure to send us a picture of your final project!
