Figuring out how to make a stick horse has been on my to do list for quite a while now, so I was thrilled to run across this amazing tutorial. The best part about it is that a) it's made from old jeans b) it's infinitely customizable and c) the creator of the tutorial is one of the best tutorializors out there. Ok, that's three "best parts" and one made up word, but, really, that's how awesome this tutorial is.
LiEr of ikatbag can pretty much sew anything from donuts to houses to play gardens with pickable fruit, and now she's made this adorable stick horse. Her directions are clear and her photos are bright and gorgeous. If you haven't discovered the wealth of knowledge and humor (you have to check out her "How to Buy Fabric with Small Children" post) that she generously shares at her blog, then go now. It's more fun than you can shake a stick horse at!
