Make: blog recently posted a fantastic list of unusual projects for dads to try out with kids under ten. Check out a preview of their ideas after the jump!

Make's round up includes more traditional ideas as well as innovative ones, and there are projects for dads of all DIY skill levels. Start slow with a mason jar terrarium or an origami flying disk, which require no tools at all; if you are super handy (meaning you have a soldering iron in your garage), you can make "vibrobots." Or, take your play dough play to another level turning the material itself into a circuit for light-up eyes.

See all the projects, tool and supply lists and instructions over at Make.
