Do you actually know what the "PEZ" in PEZ dispenser stands for? First created in 1927 in Austria, the candy dispenser held mints for adults, and the term "PEZ" came from the German word for peppermint, "PfeffErminZ." Today, PEZ are mainly used by kids and collectors, but that's about to change, because we've discovered this cool wall art DIY.

Stephanie Lynn has a child who loves Toy Story, and she wanted a unique piece of wall art that represented the characters. Enter some Woody, Buzz, and the gang Pez dispensers from the dollar store and a bunch of creativity, and this inexpensive, personalized, and unique wall art was born.

You could choose to collect some vintage dispensers and display them as a collection like these, but using cheap versions with current characters (Star Wars, Angry Birds, superheroes, Hello Kitty, even early presidents of the United States!) and turning them into art makes an even bolder statement.

Which collection would you choose?
