Recently we ran across these adorable photo holders made from children's toys from our friends at Photojojo. The only problem is, we're more of the diy type instead of the buy it type. We're pretty sure you could make a set all by yourself, check out our ideas on construction after the jump!
Now, if you're not the diy type or decide that it's easier to buy rather than make your own we totally understand. You can find these adorable magnets from Photojojo priced at 1 animal for $9, 3 for $25 and all 4 for $30.
Head to your local toy retailer and pick up a few fun animals. We suggest something with a solid base or at least 4 legs to help keep things supported. Make sure to grab a box of small magnets while you're there. They can be something standard although we think these teeny tiny ones would work well too. Dig out your Dremel tool (or borrow one from a neighbor) and slice those bad boys in half. Next, dig a small hole for each magnet and glue into place. Once dry, they should be set to hold whatever photo you choose!

White Enamel Flatwa...
You beat me to it! I also saw these on Photojojo and thought of making them myself, but have been hestitant to swipe one of my son's plastic critters to try it out! I'm thinking of trying it with plastic dinosaurs.
What a great idea! This might just help me justify the long-coveted Dremel. Thanks!
