Make Mega Blocks With A Designer Twist

Craftzine

This set of pretty blocks was handmade with a few pieces of wood from the hardware store. It's a gift that can be completed in just a few hours (less with the help of a hair dryer to cure the paint) and will look modern and design savy on a budget.

We stopped in over at Craftzine and ran across this fabulous elephant meets block project. It looks super modern and has a handmade feel to it all at the same time.

The blocks are simply cut from a piece of wood at the hardware store (or at home if you have a saw) and painted on different sides with different colors. Because the blocks are quite large they're real show stoppers and you could choose any design you want. Check out all the details and suggestions for this project on Craftzine.
