Sometimes when we look at kids decor, the first thing that comes to mind is, "Well we can do that." Other times, we'd much rather leave it to a professional, but for the works of art above, all you need is a pencil and a Dremel tool.

Now, before we get ahead of ourselves, you can find these fine works of art for around $50 over at CSN. While we don't want to detract from their fine craftsmanship, we're willing to bet you can make a version of your own for less.

Their simple shapes can be recreated with a fine pencil line and with the help of a Dremel tool, you can cut out the line work without any heavy machinery. If you don't own a Dremel tool, they're a great investment and can be used in place of many other tools with the right attachments. By using a routing bit, you can carve out each line, creating animals, sports, words and phrases or anything else you can dream up!

Would you rather buy artwork already made? Or get down and dirty with your tools? Sound off in the comments!
