Want to add some colorful curb appeal to your home? It may be easier than you think. Sometimes all you need is one colorful element to spice up a bland façade, and we found five ways to do it:
The garage: This ready-made rectangle is just waiting for you to give it a Mondrian-inspired makeover. Case-in-point: this 1959 Frank Gehry pad (via Curbed), flashy in red.
The door: Always a popular (and easy) upgrade. A bright door feels so warm and welcoming.
The roof: This fix may take a bit more work, but just look at all that color payoff. A bright roof, like this one from Better Homes and Gardens, really makes this home stand out. Just imagine describing how to find your home, "Mine's the one with the pink roof!"
Shutters: We like to think of these blue beauties as liner on the eyes (windows) of this house. They really make them pop! This home's by Reef, Cape Cod Builders.
Decor: If you can't or don't want to take the plunge into permanent color choices, switching up your decor is the easiest and quickest way to add a punch. Enliven any garden, patio, or porch with quick color and watch your space get happier.
