Last year we featured a line of garage door decals that caused quite a stir. The same company is back with an interior door line and although many are straight up out of the question, there's a few that in the right space — could be rather fun. Ready to tell us which is your favorite?
Now although some of the ones we've included below are rather silly, we tried our best to stay away from things with animals (like these kittens in a yarn closet), or enlarged images of their fur or skin. No one needs a door covered in leopard, no matter how hard you try to convince us. Each graphic will run you around $95 US dollars from Style Your Door. What do you think? Super silly, or kinda fun?

Shaw's Original Fir...
I'm sure in some contexts only a leopard-skin door would do
The golden elevator door reminds me of that scene from The Shining...
Although the bronze elevator doors are the prettiest:
None of the above.
I'd rather keep that $95 tax & shipping for myself...
...and make do with the doors I already have.
lol terrible
The only one I'd want to live with is the bronze elevator doors, but the addition of a knob would spoil the effect. I think these would work very well on sliding doors that don't have knobs, such as in early 20th century railroad flats - the bookcase one would be great for children.
A little creepy. Tactics or the wooden type are the least so to me, but overall.. not so much.
I saw the stacked firewood and thought, "Oh, what now." Then saw the rest in a flicker...not for me, I guess. Maybe on the outside of a dorm room just for fun.
none of the doors in the photos feature doorknobs--that would ruin the effect, methinks. but i likey--in the right space it's whimsical and fun.
It would be nice if they just had solid colours. My existing doors have deep scars from the previous owner's wheelchair and I can't replace doors just yet. Painting them would mean quite a bit of sanding, spackling and priming to get them smooth and paint-ready.
This could have been a nice temporary measure until I find the time to do all that.
Oh, I dunno. I could maybe use a leopard door...

If your doors are all dinged up - these aren't gonna make that go away...
...you'll just have bubbles and ripples in the image.
Spending $50 on sandpaper, woodfiller, primer and paint to fix your doors properly is far cheaper.
I think the bronze elevator door overlay is nice, especially if it's embossed. The rest of the overlays I think are silly. If one is that dissatisfied with their doors, some nice moulding from a lumber supply hot glued or nailed to the door surface will nicely dress up a door for a lot less than $95.
See bepsf.
They're all wonderfully silly. I love them!
Thanks for the advice bedsf. i just figured since they put the decal over a textured garage door on their other site, these would offer the same coverage on interior doors.
I looked at some of the other options on the website and I really like the rustic-looking door decals, particularly the orange one. Fun idea.
Actually the alphabet door decal wouldn't be so bad just on its own, on a wall.
Meh. Not a fan.
I saw this and immediately thought, "What about an Arcade Game?" Space Invaders, Pac Man, Donkey Kong!!
This would be really fun in a kids room - I would have loved them when I was little.
This company may be on to something big, but they seriously need to hire a decent art director and get away from the kitsch that they seem to be going towards. This product has a lot of possibilities. I wonder if it is possible to apply to refrigerator doors?
These are not ok anywhere, ever.
These are cute. My fav is the wooden type. I am also drawn to the golden elevator doors, although I would NEVER put them in my house! I like the Greek door from the website too:

If you live in a loft, this is big artwork for pretty cheap. I can see the brick one having some uses, too. Hidden room?
Cute for a dorm or a front door (assuming your housing board/RA allows it).
The brick one amuses me, as does the elevator door. It would look really fabulous in a dorm setting or a kids room.
I wouldn't pay $95 for one, but I have been thinking about painting the doors in my kitchen red. I think it would pop against the sky blue walls and white trim.
I'm with the others that I'm not sure I'd go for these at this price point.
But, I'd love to put the wood type one on the outer side of my apartment door. Make our little place stand out among the hundred of identical doors.
All our doors are paneled. Never work. Also too kitsch. But oddly fascinating. I think I like them better as posters than as doors.
I think they are kinda fun. Doubt I would ever use them though.
Use bondo to fix deep gashes in doors. Works better than wood filler. Cheaper too, I think.
