We are smitten with this Easter egg project Megan of Not Martha came up with. These are not hollowed out eggs, folks. Megan made the eggshells herself using papier mache.
And just like real eggs, you need to break the shells to get to the good stuff inside. Can you imagine how fun that would be for the little ones? Megan has fantastic step-by-step instructions on her site explaining how to recreate these wonderful Easter eggs. It's definitely more effort than store-bought plastic eggs but you've still got time and the results are worth it!

These are adorable.
They are so cute! I'll try it for my nieces.
This is the best ever!
I feel like I've asked about a thousand times and never get an answer anywhere I ask. Does anyone know where to find these little chickens? My daughter would LOVE them.
