We've talked about our love for magnets in the past, but we wanted to throw out one more reminder of how easy they can transform everyday items into cool pieces for your home. In this case, rocks have been stamped and then used as end of the year gifts for teachers.

Jackie of Avocado & Papaya wanted to whip up a quick and inexpensive end-of-the-year teachers' gift and put her skills to work making these cute magnets. They can be customized in a million different ways, plus those new-fangled dry erase chalkboards are usually magnetic as well.

You can make a whole alphabet or just a few select words, but no matter if this project is for home or given as a gift, it's sure to make any space feel more personalized and fresh.
