One of the challenges I faced when downsizing from a larger home to our little apartment was finding a place to store my crafting supplies. I knew that if I didn't have easy access to my sewing machine, crafting books, and thread, I'd never use them again.
When I set up our little office closet in our apartment, I carved out a space to store my sewing supplies. My handy Singer is positioned on an easy access shelf next to my collection of vintage Time Life sewing books. My collection of thread of every color is hanging on the back wall of the closet, easy to keep organized and readily accessible.
The sewing supplies are what I use most often in my home projects. Of course I also occasionally need paint, Mod Podge, and other tools and supplies. Those are tucked away in a couple of desk drawers near the dining room table, which is usually Craft Central.
