Kids like hidden things so why not something hiding in their pillow? Forget the tooth fairy, that only works until you lose all your teeth. This pillow keeps secrets coming, whether it's wishing them luck on their math test or a candy cane come the holidays. The best part? You can make it in 7 easy steps.

We stopped in at Tatertots and Jello and there was a guest post from Desiree of 36th Avenue. She put together this great secret message pillow with interchangeable pouches. She made different ones for seasons or holidays, but you could also just leave them plain.

Each pocket is held on with small Velcro circles that allow them to be removed for the wash or changed up throughout the year. It's a great project that keeps the magic of secret letters and well wishes alive as children wake up in the morning or see it when they come home from school.

You can find the complete tutorial at Tatertots and Jello. It could be a great project for a family night, or a gift for a younger relative when you don't want to give a toy for the upcoming holiday season — it could even come pre-packed with your own note!
