Make Snow Flake Cutting Easier For Smaller Hands

How About Orange

These snowflakes are extra pretty when made with orange paper, but did you know they're also easier for kids to make? Paper snowflake making is a great activity for all ages, but it can get a little frustrating trying to cut through all those folds of paper. Instead, try a less traditional 5 pointed approach!

The orange snowflakes above were made by the lovely Jessica Jones of How About Orange. She's been so kind enough to share a step-by-step tutorial to show everyone how to make a 5 pointed snow flake. Are they scientifically accurate? No. Are they cute and still fun to make? Yes! Sounds like an obvious choice to us, especially when made with paper other than the standard white — orange snowflakes, hello!
