What better way to remember the now waning summer than some sweet strawberry pillows. We're imagining several of these adorning a child's bed or piled together on a windowseat or in a corner reading nook. Or maybe used in a rousing round of "hot strawberry."
These plump berry pillows were created by Molly of Purl Soho and she walks you through making them with a detailed tutorial on The Purl Bee. She used a Japanese woven fabric, but we think these would be great in flannels or jersey knits. Or why not upcycle an old pink or red sweater?
We loved Purl Soho's charming little fabric/yarn store when it was on Sullivan Street, but we also can't wait to visit their recently opened, larger home on Broome Street. If you're not in New York, you can find them online here.
