The year was 1999, and we still used film in most cameras. Then, just like that, the new millennium was upon us and film was out like trout and digital was in like flynn. Having grown up with a darkroom in my basement I still miss my film days, so maybe this diy project will curb my nostalgia and clutter in one!
Things that looks like other things are fun right? You see, this basic plastic bucket has had a makeover and although it looks like a film canister, this supersize diy is anything but (obviously).
If you were a film kid, this project might be fun to tame your clutter and keep out in the open as an oversize show piece. Plus, if you're a super sleuth, you can probably track down the Kodak font online to make slightly cleaner lettering. The materials are pictured above, so get busy because this looks like a quirky place to store your current knitting project or even the kid's Legos out in plain sight. Want to make one yourself?
