Even though bath toys come in all shapes and sizes, this bathtime fun is brought to you by something we've never seen done before. Can you guess what makes your bath water look like this? The answer after the jump!
Erica from the aptly named Erica's Bloggity Blog has been having a splashing good time lately with her little ones. When she heads out to her local $1 store, she makes sure to check for these glow wands or sticks. They're inexpensive and make a bath taken in the dark a ridiculous amount of fun!
They would be a great way to help coax a little one who isn't super keen on bath time, or for those times when you're looking to draw out bath time longer before bedtime or the next event on your agenda. It's amazing how fast they can get dirty when they come out of the tub, so try a glow stick to keep them in just a few minutes longer!

The greenie in me would recommend a less-disposable product. We bought the underwater disco light and as it's only 7.99 it's not much more than a few glow sticks. My son is 3 and thinks it's awesome and knows what button to push to make it do the different light shows.

i'm with you collington, the disco light is way cooler and you don't have to worry about a glowstick breaking and the stuff coming out. even though they are non-toxic, they still weird me out.
I think this is very creative. It is a super cool rainy day activity idea. Or... a mid winter activity, you know, when you are DYING for something new and its 2 more hours until bed time.
We have done this. They loved it. You can even get under water battery powered lights. Pic is kind kreepy though.
weird... but cool
