Frames can be expensive depending on the style you're looking for. Sure you can find them at thrift stores, but more often than not, it's a happy surprise when you happen upon a cool one because it certainly doesn't happen every visit. This simple idea uses paper tape (the kind you get wet) to keep your artwork, mat board, and glass all together and trimmed up nice and neat.

mojones, maybe it's because others thought like I do: That you'd have to be super-exacting to make this look good - otherwise it's just one step up from tacking an unframed picture to the wall. Dunno. I'd appreciate it elsewhere, but I wouldn't have the dexterity to do it right.
