On a scale of 1-10, I'm giving Molly de Aguiar's iPad inspired, DIY Father's Day card project an "11". I especially like the idea of hiding messages or photo from the family under each app icon, imagining the industrious types could further customize a few of the apps specific to their father and/or family history and interests...

- 2 pieces of 8-1/2 x 11-inch black card stock or construction paper
- 1 piece of 8-1/2 x 11-inch white card stock or copy paper
- iDad card template
- iDad envelope template
- Cutting mat
- X-Acto knife
- Scissors
- Newspaper
- Glue stick
- Spray glue
- Images of icons
- Optional: Photos
- Optional: Large envelope
Molly de Agiuar of Charlotte's Fancy was kind enough to upload templates for this project for anyone to copy, complete with an "iDad" envelope template as a final touch.
Oh, and this card doesn't require, but would be noticeably better, if the card was accompanied by an actual iPad or iPhone.
