In August we shared a beautiful DIY tent created by one of the talented ladies (Rubyellen) over on A Beautiful Mess. So I wasn't surprised when another one of their crafty mavens recently shared a tutorial for creating the most gorgeous teepee I've ever laid eyes on. Rachel used lace to cover the frame, although any material could be substituted if lace just isn't your thing.
I think the see-through nature of this teepee would be perfect for a curious little one like my daughter, who loves to 'hide away' but still wants to be part of the action. Plus what a beautiful addition to any home!
To create your own teepee follow Rachel's instructions over on A Beautiful Mess.

Shaw's Original Fir...
This is one beautiful teepee haha ; )
i love this!!
Love this!! I want one now.
Gorgeous! I love the way she's styled it, as well.
I'm wondering, though, if it's intended to be a sort of ironic, postmodernist sculpture -- or if it's actually supposed to be used/played with.
If the latter, isn't the lace a little bit too delicate for a children's plaything? This seems like one of those ideas that's beautiful in pictures, but not so practical for real life.
That looks like standard polyester lace. I doubt it would be a problem.
My small children would destroy that in a matter of minutes :(
I LOVE THIS!
this is a little girl princess' teepee:)
