Yesterday we told you about Moleskine teaming up with Kindle to release a Moleskine Kindle Case. Well, we were wondering what iPad people will do now? Sure, there's other cases on the market, but some people are impatient and want instant gratification.

We wouldn't mind waiting for a DODO Case, we think they are well worth the wait, but, there's nothing like the feeling of accomplishment after completing a great DIY project.
For about $19, and a few hours of your time, you can make your own Moleskine inspired iPad case. Here's what you'll need:
&bull 1 sheet of liner paper – $3.50
&bull 1 sheet of Imitation Leather Black Morocco (brown also available) - $6.75
&bull 1 sheet Davey Binder’s Board .098 – $3.75
&bull PVA Glue - Thin 4 ounces – $3.25
&bull Black elastic ribbon – AC Moore – $1.50
Total = $18.75
Brandon from Modern Day Pirates explains step by step how he made his case. The process is fairly simple and will teach you a few lessons in patience.

If you're looking for a ready-made solution, the Incase Book Jacket is sort of similar:

The Convertible Book Jacket adds stand functionality; I have it and have been pretty happy with it.
That is just TOO funny. Perfect disguise.
