Here's an easy project to decorate the walls with your collection of photos for under $20. Print out those Instagrasms or Flickr photos as 3 1/2" x 4" images and use a Polaroid photo template for the full effect...

According to the Photojojo team, they were able to put together a photo ledge display for under $20 using the following:

  • 8′ Piece of Plastic Cap Molding, available at local hardware stores
  • Adhesive Strips or Sticky Tack
  • Measuring Tape
  • Utility Knife
  • Cutting Surface
  • Pencil
  • Instant Photos
We'd recommend using 3M Command Strips, since they won't damage your walls if/when you decide you want to remove or move your display ledges anywhere else. Also, a wall level would be handy to ensure a horizontally level shelf. Otherwise, this seems like an affordable solution for bringing a little wall art into a home office or hallway (imagine it stretching all the way down for 10-12'!) without much DIY skills except measuring and sticking ong the molding.
