With housewarming parties coinciding with warm weather we've been on the look out for great practical gift ideas. We love nifty lamps and great DIY gift ideas. This Instructable has both and when coupled with an LED candle it's a gift that keeps on giving in the form of energy savings!
Instructables user Laxap shows us how to create a tea light lamp.
To make this project, you will need tracing paper, or inkjet transparency sheets, narrow and tall glasses, LED tea lights, steel wire (1.2mm thick), or brass or copper wire (2.5mm thick) and clear adhesive tape.
The tools needed for this project are a computer, laser printer (for tracing paper) or inkjet printer (for inkjet transparencies), cutting mat, utility knife, pencil, scissors, ruler, and pliers.
