Washi tape is certainly the crafting supply du jour, and we've seen plenty of cute DIY projects that use it. But this is the first car track we've seen washi-taped right to the floor!
While Juliette of Le Jardin de Juliette writes in Dutch, you can get pretty much what you need from her photos. With as many colors and patterns of washi tape as you can imagine, you can create lots of different kinds of roads and tracks for your kids to explore.
Although we haven't tried it yet, we imagine that washi tape comes up off the floor pretty cleanly, but if you were concerned, you could try painter's tape.

Nomade Express Slee...
Uber cool!
Does anyone have a reliable source for authentic, Made-in-Japan washi tape? The real stuff is amazing and I got suckered into some Chinese-made stuff the other day without realizing it. Utter junk.
Awesome! After reading this, I pulled some Washi out, taped down a few roads and buildings and had at least 2 hours of peace-- the first in months. THANK YOU!
Judi, I like Cute Tape and Happy Tape.
There are other stores like the below that are just as good.
