The documentation of my pregnancy consists of one or two poorly focused belly shots standing in front of a mirror and emails to friends in my Sent box complaining of swollen legs and acid reflux. That's one way to go about it. Or you can go about it the awesome way like Johanna who is creating an amazing keepsake book for herself and her daughter chronicling her thoughts, feelings, and observations along the way as she waits to meet little Mia.

We promise this post isn't meant to make you feel inadequate for not being a fabulous photographer, creative graphic designer or for having the imagination to create something like this. It's to inspire you. What do you do well? Love to write? Keep a journal. Love to talk? Keep an audio or video journal. Love to draw? Create your own pregnancy cartoon starring...you! Involve your partner - what are they good at?

We can't wait to follow Johanna along in her journey and see how she's documenting it. You can see more pages she's created here and keep checking back for updates on Mama Mia's Maternity Book.

(You probably noticed Johanna's gorgeous photography - she's Austin based and specializes in newborns, children, maternity & family photography. See more at Hanna Mac Photography.)

Thanks Johanna!
