ManCans were invented by 13 year old Hart Main, who didn't really dig all the girlie candles his sister was selling for a school fundraiser. So with a $100 investment, ManCans was born! Each candle is hand poured into a recycled soup can by Hart's mom (she doesn't trust him to handle hot wax yet).
With scents like Fresh Cut Grass, Campfire, Bacon, Coffee and Grandpa's Pipe, Hart does everything else in the process from putting on the labels (made from recycled paper), product development and accounting. Each candle is $9.50 and can be ordered from his site, Man-Cans.com. In addition to using recycled soup cans, they give back to the community by donating cans of soup to the needy.
Hart also has a Facebook page to keep up-to-date on their latest news and product additions by this inspirational young man.

White Enamel Flatwa...
Brilliant! I'd buy these for myself and I'm a woman. Good job, kiddo. Pretty sure you've got the potential to make millions and you're 13.
That's silly. He's 13. Let him pour the wax mom!
Although you've taken the fun out of teasing my boyfriend for liking candles, I can't wait to show him these :o)~ So simple... great job, I love it!
now why did I think of that??
i think this is awesome! hilarious! and i know they'd totally sell at a lot of the quirky boutique stores in cali.
i agree that's it's kinda silly not to let a 13-year-old handle the wax. he makes man cans! let him be a man!
