On Berlin's Museum Island, a giant map of the city in the 1700s will cover 2,500 meters. The map commemorates the 775th anniversary of the city's founding, and is a 1:775 scale. The map opens to the public on August 25. In other news, new tech keeps you cool when it's hot, and a new dorm in Denmark is way cooler than any place you lived in college.
