Map of 18th Century Berlin Celebrates the City's 775th Birthday

On Berlin's Museum Island, a giant map of the city in the 1700s will cover 2,500 meters. The map commemorates the 775th anniversary of the city's founding, and is a 1:775 scale. The map opens to the public on August 25.
