Their big decisions are set: the room design is done (big window and skylight, seperate shower), the glass shower wooden ofuro soaking tub are set, they've picked out the rest of the fixtures, but now, it's down to the tile...with so many (really gorgeous) options, it's not easy to narrow it down.We were happy to see that they brought over a bag of tile samples with them so we got to dig through and weigh in on our favorite. Renovations are especially enjoyable when they are in someone else's home...
If you have done a bathroom renovation, we'd love to show it off on AT:Chicago this month. Likewise, if you have made your pre-existing fixtures and tiles work by redecorating or organizing, email us photos at chicago(at)apartmenttherapy(dot)com. The first thirty bathrooms posted across the four AT city sites this month will recieve a tshirt or AT book as a thank you.
Today marks the beginning of the big annual "Smallest Coolest Contest". We'll be taking entries starting today and will begin posting early next month. Look for a post soon with all the details.
This is AT:Chicago's first time in the Smallest Coolest Contest, and we hope to see lots of excellent entries from our part of the world (the midwest totally rocked the color contest!), so if you are living small (under 650 square feet) and cool, and would like to share your design brilliance with the rest of us, you know what to do...enter!
