Margot's Eclectic Nursery

My Room

Name: Margot
Location: Tulsa, OK

When we were expecting we decided not to find out the baby's gender, so in designing the nursery we had to commit to a neutral scheme. Our first find was the Stokke Crib on Craigslist ($200!), so I set out looking for a bentwood rocker to match.

We wanted an eclectic space that would let us incorporate all of the vintage pieces we've inherited from our grandparents as well as the more modern pieces we love. The Hiya Rocker was a gift that we used to pick the paint color for the vintage dresser. The dog wallpaper reminded us of children's book illustrations and was a perfect fit for our two dog family. I knitted the pouf footstool myself with giant cotton cording, and we made a special trip to our local sheep farm to find the sheepskin rug. It's turned out to be the perfect place for our daughter Margot!

Thanks, Hilary!
